Happy Father's Day Papa

So it's the 2md week of june, and it's father's day! A day not jsut for real men, but for all the individuals who acted like a father.


Some always say that I am lucky to have him as my father. Yes, he's the kindest, the most helpful. He is fond of helping other people. By the way, he is a chief marine engineer. He spent almost his whole life at the sea. We grew up not seeing him most of the time. We grew apart. Yes, hindi kami close sa papa namin. He's trying to give everything we want. Halos sunod sa luho nga ako because of him ee. Back when we were still young, simple lang ang life namin, pero nung tumanda na, sa material things na namin nababawi yung mga times na wala siya. Sometimes, nakakasawa na, to get everything I want. Na oo lang siya ng oo. What I want? is to build a close relationship with my dad. To spend more time with him. Sooner, papasok na ako mg med, and he'll grow older, how can we spend time pa? sana mag effort din siya para maging close samin. it saddens me na hindi ako makapagopen up sakanya ng mga bagay bagay. He's too focused on providing us a good life, and forgot that we are growing up not noticing were growing apart :(

barbara's buffet (intramuros, manila)

While I was browsing for deals, I saw this 50% off at barbara's in metrodeal. It was for 250 only, so I invited my mapua friends and they agreed. So we bought 5 vouchers. We were suppossed to be there last may 28, but we forgot to make reservations so we just decided to go there on the 5th of June.

since barbara's is inside intramuros, its interiors are spanish inspired. I guess it was a house built during the spanish era.

Barbara's serves Filipino foods. Some will say there is nothing special about their foods. But personally, i loved their kaldereta and okoy.

There was also a cultural show. It made me miss my sining kalinangan days. haha! I can say that barbara's is good. We left full naman. TIP: after you finish your first plate, rest for a while, and if you want to eat again, be sure to eat before the cultural show starts. Barbara's is eat-all-you-can-until-supplies last. We wanted to eat more of the dessert, but the trays were already empty and when we asked if they are going to refill it, they said no.

Potluck @ NCMH

Last week, I don't know why I suddenly thought of having a get-together meal with my classmates. I suggested na magka potluck kami. that we need to bring food for everyone. I asked them all what they want to bring! and fortunately, everyone participated! yay!

I was suppossed to bring tacos but it's so time consuming so I brought ham and cheese roll(will blog the recipe soon, it's easy lang naman:) )

I guess everyone did enjoy the meal. We ate with our CI and other staffs of the Pav 1's OT. It was fun! Sana maulit! haha :)

fast recovery

Since I am an early bird here @ ncmh, and I have nothing to do, I saw something! haha We've been eyeing on this tree since last week, because its leaves were withering, and we were catching the leaves as it falls. just for fun! haha. And I saw it this morning.

I wish people are like this. The tree starts a new life just like that, so fast! Nabubulok yung leaves, nalalaglag kapag hinahangin, at agad-agad may mga bagong leaves na patubo. Sana ang tao, madali din maglet go, na ilet go yung mga bagay na wala ng kwenta para sa better ones. Wala naman kasing permanent sa mundo ee.

philippine fashion week: my first

Unexpectedly last week, I think, I received an email from PFW. It was an invite from Jeffrey Rogador, one of the designers of the show!

Kat and Fi also received invites so the three of us went together. It was my first time to attend a fashion show! haha. It was kind of intimidating cause there are so many fashion personalities and everyone was all dressed up. I can say that the designs was so good especially the all red collection of Xernan Orticio and the black and gold dress of Ronald Lirio! Sayang, I wasn't able to take a picture of the one that caught my attention!

i enjoyed the show. I will attend next season! haha. Will get more invites! yay! :)

1 liter milk tea!

Decided to blog this! haha :) 3 weeks ago, my classmate read a tweet about this 1 liter milk tea oreo. Since I am a milk tea lover since I don't know when, we tried it after our ojt. The shop is located in P.Campa near morayta. It was a new shop.

So we ordered the xxl size, which is 1 liter, oreo milk tea! they also have rocksalt and cheese but was out of stock that day. our first sip was the best. So delicious. It only costs us 110 pesos for that 1 liter!

It is my new favorite. I have also trued their rocksalt and cheese, and it was good! not like that of happy lemon's but it was really good! Note: if you don't want it to be so sweet, ask them to lessen the sugar! 75% is enough!

every child is special

Since it's saturday, meaning tomorrow is sunday, no classes! me and my brother decide to buy dvds. Then I saw a bollywood movie. I bought it because the I saw a familiar face, the lead actor of 3 idiots was also in this movie. The movie is "Every child is special". it was about a boy who has a dyslexia, but his parents views him as a naughty, lazy boy. The boy sees the letters dancing whenever he tries to read it and he has a difficulty in remembering spellings and even how to write the letters. This is not a movie review. So if you're searching for a movie review, close this tab, now! haha. kidding! :p

It was a long movie, I think it's more than 2 hours! Some might get bored watching it, but for me, I enjoyed the movie. It made me remembered the time when we visited pav 14 of ncmh(national centerr for mental health), it is for boys. Ishaan made me remember the boy who was crying that day which made me shed a tear. I was so touched by the movie. It made me understand more of my purpose in life. Mahirap iexplain yung feeling nung movie. pero ang alam ko masarap yung feeling! Must watch! was crying while watching it! Realized so many things. napulot ko sa movie: "You'll find your purpose in life where you find your happiness"
